NOISE FOR NOW is a national initiative that enables performers to connect with, and financially support, grassroots organizations that are dedicated to empowering women and protecting women’s health and abortion rights. NOISE FOR NOW is the link between touring musicians, progressive promoters, and local feminist organizations in cities across the country.

Santa Fe NOW Action Network undertakes charitable work in areas of specific urgency to women in New Mexico, such as reproductive justice, human trafficking, wage equity, immigration, gender identity, domestic and sexual violence, and marriage equality. Additionally, SF NOW Action Network supports organizations that provide vital financial assistance for non-medical expenses like transportation, food, and childcare for low-income women who need to access abortion in New Mexico.

Grizzly Bear was formed in 2004 in Brooklyn by Edward Droste, Daniel Rossen, Christopher Bear, and Chris Taylor, and has since grown into one of the most acclaimed indie rock acts of the 2000s and 2010s. Over the course of their six records they've defined their own dense and eclectic sound, filled with woodwinds, electronics, guitars and multilayered harmonies. They've collaborated with contemporary classical composer Nico Muhly and Beach House vocalist Victoria LeGrand, and headlined venues around the world from Radio City Music Hall to the Sydney Opera House. Their dynamic live shows and intricate arrangements have earned accolades from musicians such as Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood and Jay Z. Their latest album Painted Ruins earned widespread praise. Paste Quarterly declared, "Grizzly Bear made an album for the times: something wild and alive, bucking assumptions and beaming color, their best yet."

A Hawk and a Hacksaw began in 2000 in the small town of Saumur, France. Initially a solo vehicle for Albuquerque native and Neutral Milk Hotel drummer Jeremy Barnes, the main impetus of the project was to focus on the gray areas in borders of music and geography, particularly in the regions that made up the Ottoman Empire. The first album was released in 2002. Barnes met violinist Heather Trost in 2004 and the band became a duo. The pair has since released eight albums, and toured extensively around the world. They have learned from, collaborated and toured with some of the great musicians of Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey. The Albuquerque duo has been invited to tour with Swans, Calexico, Wilco, Andrew Bird, Portishead, and performed at Roskilde, Pitchfork Music Fest, and All Tomorrow's Parties, among others. Their new album Forest Bathing was released in April.
