Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Fe/Del NorteBoys & Girls Clubs of Santa Fe/Del Norte in conjunction with AMP Concerts presents "Back to School Jam." Come and see live performances by our local youth at 6 PM. Hip Hop University will be on-site performing a Full Set of Breakdancing plus a Breakin' workshop for our youth with local favorite B-Girl Ale.

Additionally, we will have a live graffiti painting workshop on-site; supplies will be provided. DJ Dynamite Sol and DJ Ride will be spinning beats throughout the night with a big dance party in the second half of the evening. Plus a Scratch Demo Session for all those interested.

DJ Dynamite Sol is an MC, Producer, DJ and Radio Personality. For over two decades Sol has been rocking crowds from the stage to the airwaves, with high energy, passion and a style all his own.

DJ Ride, a Santa Fe native, has been spinning for over a decade locally, and will be spinning Hip Hop, Funk, and Soul from the main stage.

In response to Covid-19, Hip-Hop University NM was founded by 3HC B-boy Crew (2001) and various renowned artists from around New Mexico. Hip-Hop University aims to uplift and empower the youth by linking adult artists with the youth and up-and-coming artists. HHUNM provides FREE art classes in all 4 elements of Hip-Hop, such as (but not limited to) BBoy'ing/Bgirl'ing, MC'in, DJ'in and Style Writing. Currently as the world changes the HHUNM team is behind the scenes, working on plans for a hybrid version of the program for the 2022 season. For more information on how to get your child involved or if you are an artist and would like to be involved, call/text Ale at 505-795-6569 or email hiphopuniversitynm@gmail.com.

In addition to music, there will be resources for families, including FREE school supply drive at the event. Santa Fe Boys & Girls Club will have a tent for you to pick up backpacks and other much needed school supplies for our kids.
