Come celebrate nature right in your neighborhood with free pop-up events! We'll have live music, bilingual nature storytelling and puppet show, nature-themed carnivale performers, bosque ecosystem traveling exhibit truck, hands-on science activities, nature-based games, show and tell with urban wild animals, Esperanza bike repair clinic, food trucks, on-site language interpreters, and more!

Each month will have a different musical guest! This month it's the New Mexican Marimba Band. Music is from 10:30-11:30 AM.

The New Mexican Marimba Band performs on an authentic Mexican Marimba featuring the music of Steve Chavez, who is a teacher, screenwriter, composer/arranger, and collector of 38 Marimbas from around the world. Steve was a member of the NM Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of Albuquerque and Santa Fe Pro Musica. He has composed/arranged nine Concerti for Marimba and Orchestra and over 70 works for Marimbas, Steel-Drums, Latin-Jazz, pop, country, and religious.  Steve will be joined by percussionist John Bartlit.
