We are excited to return for a second year to Winrock Park, with free concerts on Fridays in May, June and July. Last year established Winrock as THE place to be on Fridays! Join us for your favorite local bands, food trucks, beer, wine and vendors, a grassy park, a playground. Something for everyone!
See the full schedule here.
The concerts will start at 6:30 and feature two groups each night.

- Feel free to bring chairs to the concert.
- Food trucks will be onsite and outside food is welcome in the park.
- Please do not bring alcohol or glass bottles.
- Bring your water bottle, as there are water stations in the park.
There is ample parking around Winrock. We encourage people to take advantage of the large underground parking lot.- This concert series is made possible due to a very generous Visit Albuquerque Innovator Grant.
The Headphone Dance Party crew will be onsite from 5 to 6:30 offering up 3 mixes for you to dance to.
Register for the event to get updates on schedules, vendors and activities, as well as info on future free programs and other events around Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
With a deep soulfulness rooted in the Gospel-driven churches of her youth, a classically trained vocal instrument thats a natural wonder, and a God-given instinct for swinging a lyric, vocalist Hillary Smith has been electrifying audiences across the United States for more than 35 years. A native of Hobbs, New Mexico, Hill first made her mark in the 80s with gutsy performances of rockin' blues and funk, and she's fronted a number of popular bands in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area over the years. Chief among the early groups was the multi-award-winning Strictly Taboo, whose debut album, Playing with Fire, got heavy rotation on local and international radio. Smith has performed with hONEyhoUSe, Chris Dracup and Soul Kitchen, Hill and the Brethren and the Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra.
The members of the Chill House Band bring years of experience performing professionally in New Mexico and Texas. The band provides an outstanding musical experience, including popular dance music, smooth/contemporary jazz, soul, R&B, and Blues. They'll be joined by the High Desert Horns too!
When you talk about the Memphis P-Tails, you're talking raw blues. The real blues. The roots. No pretense. No studio tricks, no glossy polish. Not "blues funk," or any other sort of blues derivative. It's straight blues, no chaser. The sound is clean and hard-driving, with roots in the Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi Delta blues, with a little Chicago thrown in for good measure. This is a classic sound, a throwback to the true roots of blues and blues rock, and yet modern in its delivery and relevance. It is a sound so distinctive, so compelling, and so timeless, that it gets down to the bottom of your soul—and stays there. The blues is universal, and the P-Tails are masters of the genre. If you listen, you will be hooked.
The Memphis P-Tails was founded and fronted 33 years ago by Darin Goldston. Thru it’s many iterations the band has settled into the current lineup the past 8 years with Mikey Wright, JD Sipe, Charlie Brown and Vicente Garcia with Ryan Clement occasionally joining the band.
