Bobby Rush, the Grammy-winning 92-year old blues musician, will perform acoustic versions of songs and present personal tales from his memoir I Ain't Studdin’ Ya: My American Blues Story from his 70+ year career.

"I never thought I would be here this long," says Rush. "I was 83 years old before I won a Grammy, but it’s better late than never. I laugh about it, but I'm so blessed and I surely never thought I’d be making a living doing what I’m doing. I’m not just an old guy on my way out."

Rush has become one of the most prominent advocates for the blues tradition, and says "it’s the root of all music, it’s the mother of all music. If you don’t like the blues, you probably don’t like your mama."

Rush performed the harmonica parts for the character of Delta Slim in Ryan Coogler's acclaimed film "Sinners" and took part in the on-stage Oscar night performance for the movie. Rush is also the subject of new PBS documentary, "King of the Chitlin’ Circuit," a deeply personal portrait of resilience and purpose—a journey through memory, music, and the road that never truly ends.
