The Santa Fe Plaza Concert Series invites Santa Feans and visitors alike to gather and enjoy great live music together in the 400-year-old historic heart of Santa Fe.

• There is a city parking garage on West San Francisco Street across from the Lensic.

Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio—or as it is sometimes referred to, DLO3—specialize in the lost art of "feel good music." The ingredients of this intoxicating cocktail include a big helping of the 1960s organ jazz stylings of Jimmy Smith and Baby Face Willette; a pinch of the snappy soul strut of Booker T. & The M.G.'s, The Meters, and sprinkles Motown, Stax Records, blues, and cosmic Jimi Hendrix-style guitar. It’s a soul-jazz concoction that goes straight to your heart and head makes your body break out in a sweat.

Shake Alert, Santa Fe's hardest-working funk band, is a happy explosion of musical energy and invention that draws from the diverse experiences of its members. In other bands, they've played everything from hip-hop and soul to authentic African and Brazilian street music to brainy avant-garde jazz.  Threads of Afrobeat, hip-hop, rock, fusion and good old funk all show up in Shake Alert's all-original, all homegrown music, but the primary directive is to throw down some filthy, unfiltered funk and get you up off your butt and onto the dance floor!
