We are excited to launch a free concert series in Albuquerque's newest gathering space—the beautiful new Winrock Park! Come join us on Fridays in May and June for an exciting mix of local, national and international artists. The concerts will start at 6:30 and feature two groups each night.
- Feel free to bring chairs to the concert.
- Food trucks will be onsite and outside food is welcome in the park.
- Please do not bring alcohol or glass bottles. Santa Fe Brewing Company will be on hand offering a nice variety of local craft beer.
- Bring your water bottle, as we will have water stations on site.
There is ample parking around Winrock. We encourage people to take advantage of the large underground parking lot.
- This concert series is made possible due to a very generous Visit Albuquerque Innovator Grant.
Visit Albuquerque is an accredited destination marketing organization (DMO), and a private, not-for-profit organization [501(c)(6)]. The mission of Visit Albuquerque is to stimulate economic growth by marketing Albuquerque as a convention, sports and visitor destination.
Register for the event to get updates on schedules, vendors and activities, as well as info on future free programs and other events around Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
Joy, streets, rebellion, ska: four words that define Skaldik. The band, from the gutters of Santiago de Chile, bring ska with punk overtones and Andean sounds through the streets of the world.
Like good children of punk, Skaldik are active both in music and in various social causes that aim to raise awareness of the inequality of a capitalist and patriarchal society.
With four albums released, Skaldik understand music as a space that facilitates collective encounters; because public spaces belong to people, they must be filled with joy, music, and reflection. Skaldik's music looks towards ska and punk, without forgetting the territory itself, in an unexpected and festive mix that winks at traditional Latin American cultures.
Few bands can unite the fun of a Latin dance band with the energy of a rock band like Los Domingueros! A multi-talented group of musicians, Los Domingueros takes listeners on a joyride through musical genres, from Ska, Latin dance (which includes salsa, bachata and cumbia), as well as adding a sprinkling of punk, reggae and even thrash styles. Get to know the band behind the music and check out the latest recordings, media, and more—we promise you haven't experienced anything quite like this before!
