Vibestrong and Dre Z Melodi

We are excited to return for a second year to Winrock Park, with free concerts on Fridays in May, June and July. Last year established Winrock as THE place to be on Fridays! Join us for your favorite local bands, food trucks, beer, wine and vendors, a grassy park, a playground. Something for everyone!

The concerts will start at 6:30 and feature two groups each night. 

• Feel free to bring chairs to the concert.
• Food trucks will be onsite and outside food is welcome in the park.
• Please do not bring alcohol or glass bottles.
• Bring your water bottle, as there are water stations in the park.
• There is ample parking around Winrock.  We encourage people to take advantage of the large underground parking lot.
• This concert series is made possible due to a very generous Visit Albuquerque Innovator Grant.

Formed in Albuquerque's vibrant music scene, Vibestrong is a Southwest reggae-rock band made up of seasoned New Mexico musicians with deep regional roots. Known for their high-energy live shows and groove-driven sound, the band blends roots reggae, rock edge, and conscious vibes built for the stage. They've shared the stage with reggae heavyweights The Wailers, Julian Marley, J Boog, Collie Buddz, Through The Roots, and more. The band earned a New Mexico Music Award nomination for “Feeling Today” and received two New Mexico Entertainment Award nominations for Best Reggae Band. Vibestrong continues to record new music, pushing their sound forward while staying rooted in groove, energy, and authenticity.

Dre Z Melodi is an award-winning native New Mexican musical artist, reggae vocalist, music producer and multi-instrumentalist whose musical journey has spanned over two decades. He is backed by a talented roots-driven live band based in ALbuquerque, consisting of five members including his talented son Naloh on drums, Mystic Vision's guitarist Jahsun Garduño, Petey Gabaldon on keys and Derek Hague on bass. Dre Z has produced over twenty albums since 1998 and some great collaborations, including a high-energy single with Jamaican vocalist Perfect Giddimani in 2022, plus a recent collaboration with Jamaica's Chezidek.
