On their newest album Yes & No (11/26/25), Ryanhood celebrates 20 years together with a bold, bright, harmony-saturated romp through the inescapable contradictions at the heart of each of us. Co-written, -played, and -sung, their ninth studio album offers ten high-powered acoustic-rock songs filled with guitar hooks, inquisitive lyrics and tight harmonies built for the live stage.
Named "Best Group/Duo" in the International Acoustic Music Awards, acoustic duo Ryanhood got their first break as street-performers at Boston's Quincy Market. It was there that they were spotted by a college booking agent and thrust into the college touring scene, where Campus Activities Magazine would name them "one of the most requested acts by college buyers all across the country." They've since gone on to perform more than 1500 shows in 47 U.S. states over the past decade, and have shared stages with Jason Mraz, Matt Nathanson, Train, and many more.
Green and Hood currently reside in their hometown of Tucson, Arizona, where they have won more than a dozen Tucson Music Awards including "Best Folk Band" and "Best Rock Band" (you can decide for yourself which is most accurate).
The old adage "you can't go home again" certainly held true for Byland—the acclaimed musical project from Seattle-based singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Alie Renee Byland and her husband and co-writer, Jake Byland. Born of a dream of home but then waylaid by disappointment, frustration, and eventual acceptance, the couple’s journey through the past led to Byland's extraordinary album, Heavy For A While. Fueled by Byland's spirited, eclectic musical approach, songs like "Settle My Mind" and "Postcard" are widescreen expressions of longing and isolation, weaving deep-rooted melodies, candid lyrical communication, and sophisticated arrangements with whispers of nostalgia and an unstoppable sense of forward motion. The result is a singular vision both familiar and unprecedented, bittersweet yet strikingly life-affirming.
