"Aragon has delivered a polished, powerful, and uplifting social statement. His resonant vocal embraces the ears and the heart, and recalls a young Marvin Gaye."
—Albuquerque The Magazine
Like sweet nourishment for the soul, Isaac Aragon is a potent soul singer and frontman for the Albuquerque-based band The Healing. Determined to inspire movement of both the body and soul, their original music promotes love, tolerance, healing and social justice through the sounds of R&B/soul.
An independent artist, Isaac has received great acclaim with his smooth, soulful vocals and prolific songwriting. His latest release, "Brown," was awarded the Best Rhythm and Blues Song at the 2023 New Mexico Music Awards.
With his first independent releases both reaching the top of the UK Soul Charts (alongside 2019 releases by Marvin Gaye, The O'Jays, and Anderson .Paak), Isaac has been featured on BBC Radio and in Albuquerque the Magazine and New Mexico the Magazine. he has also performed at Telluride Blues and Brews Festival, Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, and opened for The Mavericks and Los Lobos at Sandia Amphitheater.
