AMP is excited to collaborate with FUSION in launching an exciting new downtown outdoor performance space—The FUSION Meadow! The Meadow is an expansive outdoor venue on the FUSION arts campus, with a 1500-square-foot covered stage overlooking an outdoor space with a capacity of 1200. FUSION, home to the FUSION Theater Company, is a center for the arts and culture in Downtown Albuquerque with a multi-use venue, 35,000 square foot campus, three performance spaces, and indoor and outdoor event spaces. It's located just south of 1st and Lomas NW, at the northern terminus of the future Rail Trail—a mixed use path that will follow the Railroad from the Railyards to the FUSION space.

For over 50 years Black Uhuru has remained one of the most popular reggae bands from Jamaica. The living legends have earned several achievements in the music industry, including winning the first ever Grammy Award for reggae music. Their long success, along with having the highest reggae record sales after Bob Marley and the most songs sampled by other artist over the years, has allowed them to become ambassadors of reggae.

Their latest album, New Day, features the band's iconic founder Duckie Simpson, back out front with his earthy, soulful baritone. The album captures Black Uhuru at their enduring best, passing the torch even as their flame continues to burn strong.

Black Uhuru was one of the first bands to seriously incorporate dub elements into their songs, with its undulating, up-front bass lines, and this single tips the hat to this approach. After spending five decades making music, Black Uhuru still manages to maintain their signature sound, keeping everything on tape, old-school.

Joseph General & High Vibration is a 6-piece reggae/worldbeat group consisting of members from diverse cultural backgrounds. They are celebrating 12 years making music together in New Mexico! With love and positivity at the heart of the message, Joseph General & High Vibration deliver uplifting sounds to entertain adults and children alike.

Since 2010, this band has worked hard to promote unity through the power of music. In 2015 and 2016, Joseph General & High Vibration, alongside Soulcialite Productions, won the New Mexico Music Award (NMMA) for Best Reggae Production and picked up another NMMA in 2019 for Best Electronica production. This company of musical talent is composed of some of Albuquerque's top musicians and vocalists who all perform in other successful groups in New Mexico and around the country.
